Focus Advisors represents three-shop Denver MSO in sale to Classic Collision, marking their 250th location

DENVER, November 13, 2023 – Focus Advisors, the leading M&A firm specializing in collision repair transactions, is proud to announce the sale of three collision repair shops in  greater Denver to Classic Collision. The individual shops are Vintage Autoworks (Littleton, CO), Northern Colorado Auto Reconditioning (Greeley), and Body’s by Brown (Englewood). This transaction with Classic represents a successful exit for owner, Chris Brown, who first established his Denver-based business as a single shop in 1988.

Prior to engaging Focus Advisors, the owner had found a buyer and negotiated on his own only to find the process frustrating and time-consuming, and ultimately the transaction didn’t close.  After engaging, Focus Advisors ran a competitive process that involved multiple interested buyers.  The owner chose to transact with Classic Collision and successfully exited.

Chris Lane, Partner at Focus Advisors, commented “Chris Brown built a dynamic business over the last 25 years, and understood the importance of strategic growth, adding his second and third shops in 2019 and 2021. Our team here at Focus enjoyed working with him to market his business and found the right partner in Classic, a consolidator that sees the significant potential in Denver.”

Chris Brown was delighted to close successfully, “Chris Lane is a rock star! He was able to negotiate with the buyer (MSO) to get maximum value for my 3 shops. If you ever decide to sell your body shop, Focus Advisors is a must have. No one gets it done like Focus Advisors and Chris Lane.”

This acquisition marked a significant milestone for the Atlanta-based Classic Collision; it helped them reach 250 locations. Classic Collision now has a footprint across 16 states across the US and continues on their growth path. In the last few years, they have doubled down on the Colorado markets, making them a significant player in Denver.
