Acquisition becomes Crash Champions' eighth Mississippi location and expands its reach in the greater Memphis market.
Southaven, MS – September 9, 2026 – Focus Advisors, the leading M&A investment bank serving the automotive services aftermarket, announced it was the exclusive advisor to Key Collision in the sale of its Southaven, Mississippi collision repair center to Crash Champions. The repair center, at 2363 Stateline Road W., began operating under the Crash Champions banner on August 31 and is the company's eighth location in Mississippi.
Key Collision operated independently but was affiliated with Key Auto Group, a New Hampshire-based dealer group. What began in 1992 as a single body shop attached to a Portsmouth, NH dealership grew into a twelve-location collision repair operation across New England and the mid-South. The Southaven store carried the same operating standards and reputation for superior repair quality that Key Collision built in the Northeast into a market more than 1,300 miles away.
The Southaven repair center sits on Stateline Road, minutes from the Tennessee border, and gives Crash Champions its eighth location in Mississippi along with a stronger position in the greater Memphis market — one of the busiest repair markets in the mid-South.
The sale came the same week Key Collision announced the sale of its ten-location New England platform — two transactions with separate buyers — both managed by Focus Advisors.
“Southaven fits the current acquisition profile of many national buyers — clean operating numbers, strong insurance relationships, and a well-equipped location that anchors a busy metro,” said John Walcher, EVP and Managing Director of Focus Advisors, who led the deal. “Shops that offer the potential for revenue diversity — in this case, an oversized booth that can accommodate fleet accounts — often attract more attention. Crash Champions saw the value, and all parties were able to close a complex transaction in a very short window.”
“Southaven was a long way from home, and our team down there ran it like owners,” said Steve Titus, CFO of Key Collision. “They deserved a buyer who would keep investing in the shop and the people in it. Crash Champions is that buyer.”
“As we continue to grow, our priorities remain unchanged: investing in our people, delivering an exceptional experience for our customers, and being a trusted partner in the communities we serve,” said Matt Ebert, Founder and CEO of Crash Champions. “We’re proud to strengthen our presence in Mississippi and excited to welcome our newest Crash Champions teammates as we build on the strong foundation they’ve established in the community.”
The two transactions together illustrate the depth of buyer demand for well-run collision repair operations — from multi-state regional platforms down to single, well-positioned locations in dense metropolitan markets.
